Saracens Club Members are invited to purchase tickets via the Cub for the forthcoming Aviva Premiership semi-final at Allianz Park.

This match will be taking place on either Saturday 11th or Sunday 12th May at 3:00 pm. The day will be known early on Saturday 4th evening, once the TV companies have decided their schedules. 

We have tickets on sale for this match at £15 for adults and £8 for children. These are specially discounted prices for us as a Club and relate to tickets in the South Stand.

Junior & Senior Section members should contact their Team Managers to arrange tickets. All other Club Members may email their requirements to Graeme Davis, the Junior Section Chairman

Congratulations to the men's 1st XV on finishing a creditable 4th in Herts/Middx 2 following a difficult period of transition.

A hearty'well done' to all the Players and the Coaching and Management team for pulling together,re building and getting the Men's Section back on track.

The U14s are holding a Family Bingo Night on Friday 19th April at 7.30 pm in the clubhouse to raise funds for their future Under 17 Tour.

Tickets are only £5 (purchased on the door), the bar will be open and food (chilli and rice and chips) can be purchased from Luan!

It should be a fun and not too serious evening, so come along and join in!

The RFU CPD Coaching Development course - 'Defending Phase Play' - that was cancelled earlier due to snow has been once again CANCELLED due to unplayable pitches.

My apologies - sorry for any inconvenience caused - but RFU Tutor Alex Austerberry has quite correctly called the pitches as unsafe for tonight's activities.

England Women Under 20s are back in action this Friday, kick off 3.30pm GMT in Dijon, for their second clash of the season against France.

Congratulations go to the following Saracens who have been selected:

Georgia Peedle, Rochelle Smith, Leanne Riley, Mica Evans, Ellen Gattlin and Catherine Pugh

Good luck to them and their Head Coach, Amanda Bennett, a former Saracen player and coach.

The John Buckton XV against the Saracens Scimitars has long been a regular fixture in the SARFC calendar but
this year with the match being played at Allianz Park, former Saracens  and England international Buckton will
be leading a star-studded old boys side with kick off  at 11am.

This is the 10th anniversary of the annual fixture, and John, a classy centre in his playing  days for Saracens,
provided an insight into the events history.

He explained: “This is actually the 10th anniversary of the ‘Reunion’ match. The idea for a  ‘reunion’ event
was originally hatched late one night in a bar, and the following day it still  sounded like a good idea so the
organisation began.”

He added: “The Club was also going through a transition from amateur to professional, and  we very much
wanted to celebrate some of the amateur players who had given long service to the club, and bring them
back into the Saracens fold.”

Buckton emphasised the importance of maintaining the club’s links to their previous players and Bramley
Road, but the former England International says he is looking forward to the  fixture’s first appearance at
Allianz Park.

He said: “The choice of the opposition was interesting, we could have opted for another club’s ‘vets’ team
– but in the end we decided that it would be great to play against the Saracens Scimitars, a team who still
play and represent the club at Bramley Road.

“The venue was going to be Bramley Road, the ground where the majority of players would have played
their competitive rugby, but this year we have been granted permission to play our reunion game  at the
new ground – on the new state-of-the-art surface, and my invite this year was met with a flood of emails
requesting to play and it should be a fantastic occasion.”

More details and the squads for both teams will be announced nearer the match.

Gates open at Allianz Park at 11am, just in time for kick-off, so get to Allianz Park early to enjoy what should
be a fantastic and entertaining curtain-raiser to Saracens v Harlequins  Premiership match.

The following is growing week by week and the noise becoming deafening. Your 1st XV Amateur Mens team are doing you proud sitting now just 2 points behind 3rd place.

The "Game of the Season" is at Bramley Road this Saturday 3.00pm kick Off. We play Hillingdon Abbots, just below us on the league and a win could see us move up into 3rd place making it an exciting last few games of the season.

90% of the team out this week have come up through the Minis and Junior ranks of Saracens Amateurs RFC. This is where all should be aiming to play their rugby.
