Mar 8, 2011, 5:07 pm Following the General Committee meeting on 7 February 2011, the club bar came under the full responsiblity of the Committee.
It is now managed in all of its aspects by the Commitee who have set up a small group comprising Marc Georghiou, Graeme Davis, Eugene Yost and myself to oversee this on a day to day basis.
We are currently looking at an agreed cost to let the hall and premises for functions and all such monies and bar takings are ploughed back into our club.
We propose to continue this structure until the end of the season when the future management of the bar will be re-considered.

Amy Garnett, Saracens and England hooker came off the bench to score the opening try for England against France. In a tight encounter where England struggled to gain superiority in the tight, Garnett came on to the pitch and within 5 minutes she scrambled out of a ruck and dived over the try line, not pretty but what was needed. Final score 16-3 another win, as England push for another Grand Slam. Also on international duty was Hannah Gallagher, Sarries blindside flanker who started at 6 for the England U20s. The U20s coached by Amanda Bennett formerly Saracens ladies 1st team coach, put in a strong performance and beat the French U20s 12-5. At Bramley Road the Sarries 2nd team played Hove Ladies in League 2 South, and had a convincing 39-0 win.
